Kirsten Ægidius appointed as the new Managing Director for Food Union Business Units in Denmark and Norway

Kirsten Ægidius, an experienced business leader with extensive international experience in Commerce and FMCG, has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Danish legacy ice cream producing and delivering brands – Premier Is and Hjem-IS – in Denmark, and strong Norwegian ice cream market players Isbjørn Is and Isbilen in Norway, effective from July 24, 2024.

Kirsten brings an impressive background and expertise, with extensive experience in FMCG and multi-channel (retail, convenience, on-trade, and e-commerce). With her solid experience from companies such as Coca-Cola, Carlsberg, Unilever, as well as her most recent role as CEO at Interflora, Kirsten will become a strong strategic and operational leader for our businesses in Denmark and Norway.

In her role as Managing Director, Kirsten will report to Søren Lauridsen, Executive Chairman at Food Union, while both the Danish and Norwegian leadership teams will be reporting to Kirsten.
