Food Union Presents 40 Milk Products and Ice Cream at a Food Fair in France

Food Union, the leading dairy production company in Latvia, is participating in one of the biggest food fairs in the world – SIAL 2014 in Paris between October 19 and 23. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the fair with 6300 participants and 150,000 visitors from 200 countries around the world. Food Union presents nearly 40 various milk products and ice cream produced from Latvian milk at Latvia’s joint stall.

Food Union is presenting milk products popular in Latvia: RASA cream cheese, butter and cream, Rasens milk drinks for children, Limbazu piens fresh cheese and Lapland cheese Valmiera at the biggest food fair in the world. Food Union is also presenting Ekselence premium ice cream, Nu Fruit fruit ice cream and Nu Smoothie and Pols – the most popular Latvian ice cream.
“We have brought the best selection of dairy products and ice cream produced from Latvian milk to the biggest food industry and innovation fair. Our aim is to find new partners in Europe who would be interested in our brand products or our abilities to produce private trademark products. We are also interested in new cooperation opportunities in the hotel, restaurant, and cafe (HoReCa) segment in Europe by offering cream cheese produced in Latvia,” Normunds Stanevics (Normunds Staņēvičs), AS Rigas piena kombinats (Food Union Group) Chairman of the Board, tells.

Food Union is part the Latvian national joint stall thanks to LIAA and ERDF. It is part of the Latvian dairy producers’ joint stall at hall 7 (stall No. 137).
