Valmieras piens

Valmieras piens is among the oldest Latvian dairy producers operating to this day and a part of the Food Union Group since its foundation in 2012. The company was established in 1923 in the town of Valmiera in the heart of Vidzeme region dubbed the cradle of the Latvian dairy industry. The company specializes in the production of traditional and fermented dairy products, as well as cheese, pancakes and industrial milk powder. The company’s most popular brand is Valmiera, which underwent rebranding in 2019 — starting with a new modern visual identity and environmentally friendly packaging, to expanding the brand’s portfolio with innovative products.
